[WATCH] Stonebwoy shares a documentary on the making of “Le Gba Gbe” music video

A documentary exploring the making of Stonebwoy’s motivation and spiritually-inspired tune “Le Gba Gbe” – lead single off his recently released fourth studio album, Anloga Junction – which is receiving critical acclaim and global recognition has been released via the official YouTube channel for the multiple award-winning Ghanaian performing and recording talent.

Filmed by Kay Studios, the teaser also depicts how Stonebwoy took a trip or journey to his roots – Anloga, Volta Region intermixed with choreography shots and scenes from the Director, Rex issuing commands on the next phase of activity of the music video which was shot on his “ancestral lands“ – Alakple.

And to bring out the actual African vibe that we love to hear and see from the Pan-African superstar, the documentary explained how each scene was accurately executed – from the make-ups, special effects, vixens apparel and other needed resources to film this wonderful project.

The official music video provides a perfect visual representation of the track’s theme of mental slavery – a state of mind that Stonebwoy breaks free from in order to live a fuller, happier life. Beginning with a massacre to symbolize the struggle and societal constraints people face, the visual alternates between shots of Stonebwoy fighting his demons and his eventual liberation. It ends with fruit falling from the trees and lighting a fire to illustrate “when all seems lost and gone, there is still hope”.
