Ghanaian highlife legend Amakye Dede has been saddened by the sudden demise of His Excellency Jerry John Rawlings whom he described as his biggest fan.
In an interview with MzGee on TV3, the legendary highlife said he was disappointed death never allowed the late statesman to listen to his new song with Sarkodie which would be released soon.
“His death has broken me apart and I am very disappointed President Rawlings never listened to my next song with Sarkodie.” He explained.
According to Amakye Dede, the Ex-president and his family were very instrumental in his career and their undying love for his songs is unparalled.
“J.J Rawlings was very proactive in my career, he was like a father. I recalled the great moments where he would call me and inquire about my next album which I promised him of its release very soon. Sadly, he would never listen to my album.” He said.
